Operations & Supply Chain Assistant (English version)

As Operations & Supply Chain Assistant with a feeling for Customer Service, you are the key person in managing our operational and administrative processes. You ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery to customers, and accurate follow-up of invoicing and payments. With your eye for detail, customer focus and logistical knowledge, you contribute to optimising our workflows and guaranteeing excellent service. You will report directly to the COO and work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure efficient and successful day-to-day operations.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Order processing: You will process incoming orders accurately and timely in our SAP system and ensure that they are followed up correctly.
  • Quality management support: You prepare the necessary documents and report incoming goods to the customer so that our quality manager can carry out the inspection together with the customer's inspection service.Uitlevering naar klanten: You will coordinate the entire delivery process, including reporting deliveries, booking transport and preparing customs documents if required.
  • Invoicing and payment follow-up: You will prepare invoices and monitor their payment, identifying and following up on any arrears.
  • Collaboration and reporting: You will report directly to the COO and work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to streamline processes and exceed customer expectations.
  • Warehouse Management and Master Data: You perform tasks in our SAP system, including managing master data and supporting warehouse management activities.
  • Customer orientation: You act as a point of contact for customers and provide support for questions about orders, deliveries and invoices.
  • Process optimisation: You actively think about improving internal processes and systems to increase efficiency.


JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES

  • A strong organizer with an eye for detail and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with SAP and an affinity for order and warehouse management are a must.
  • Knowledge of logistics processes and customs documentation is essential.
  • Insight into quality processes is a plus.
  • Someone who works independently but also collaborates well within a team.
  • A proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
